If you’re a little wary about adding colour to your cafe, then there’s no need to be. Most of our favourite cafes are those which have been lovingly put together using colour, imagination, and creativity.
A cafe’s interior should be styled so that it makes customers feel relaxed, comfortable, and sociable. Although styles will vary from one cafe to another, clever use of colour is a great way of making your interior more appealing. If your cafe is looking a little tired and dull then adding some colour is an inexpensive way of rejuvenating it.
There are heaps of ways that cafe owners can add colour to their interior space: walls, cushions, art, mugs, plants, plates, and even furniture. If you’re already considering upgrading your cafe furniture it could be the perfect time to add some colour too.
At Cafe Chairs Sydney we have two chair options which are perfect for adding colour to an interior:
No. 18 Steel Cabaret Chairs
The No. 18 steel cabaret chair is based on the original Vienna cafe chair (No.18) designed by Michael Thonet in 1876 which was made from beechwood. This fabulous chair was regarded as the quintessential Viennese cafe chair and is still produced today in one of Europe’s original Thonet factories.
Our No. 18 steel cabaret chair is manufactured from steel and welded to ensure durability even in the busiest of cafes. Boasting the same sinuous curves, the steel frame is powder coated for added protection.
It’s available to buy in matte black, white, yellow, gloss red, or gloss forest green. Super stylish, super strong, and perfect for pairing with a wide array of cafe tables.
Tolix chairs and stools
Our fabulous replica Tolix chairs are manufactured from steel in the same way as the original Xavier Pauchard design of the 1930’s. These chairs were popular all over France and could be found in schools and hospitals as well as in local bistros and cafes. The Tolix style is still as popular today as it was back then and is a popular choice for cafe owners.
Our Tolix chairs are powder coated in stunning metallic shades such as antique gold, copper, silver, and black as well as more vibrant colours of orange, apple green, sky blue, red, and yellow with a choice of timber and cushioned seats. Super stylish, these chairs also have stacking capabilities for limited storage.
Their simple design works well in a minimal design and never goes out of fashion. Tolix stools are also available with a choice of 3 heights, in matching colours, and these could be propped next to a counter or bar table to create a relaxed, informal space.
