Outdoor Furniture – 3 Trends To Consider

Outdoor cafe seating areas are popular at any time of the year that lends itself to sitting outside taking in the sights and sounds. After all who doesn’t enjoy an attractive retreat where they can sit and relax, while sipping a drink or enjoying a quick snack. Come summer we’re expecting patio and pavements areas to look a little different as cafe owners embrace some of these new trends in outdoor furniture which are sure to entice customers to stay a little longer.

Trend 1# Woven furniture

We’ve noticed a large increase in sales of rattan and wicker style patio furniture which offer a great way of adding interest and texture to outdoor areas. Once a common sight in the 70’s, today’s woven chairs have taken a step away from natural fibres and reinvented themselves through exciting new styles and more durable synthetic materials which can withstand the harsh Australian climate. Our Parisian collection includes side and arm chairs, steel frames, and nylon braided seats and backs. Truly delightful, they’ll also add a touch of French flair to your outdoor space.

Trend 2# Mosaic Tables

We love vintage and so we’re pleased to see the come back of mosaic tables (did they ever really go away?). Adding subtle colour and interest, they’re widely available as dining and accent tables and are made from a variety of natural materials from glass to stone.

Trend 3# White

There’s nothing as eye-catching or alluring than the clean fresh bold look of white. Simply timeless it works well both with contemporary and traditional décor. To add personality, pops of colour or green foliage will punch up your design. We’re pleased to introduce our latest addition, the Belle chair with arms, which is manufactured from polypropylene and is extremely elegant and stylish. For something a little more casual, but equally as eye catching why not take a look at our Grace chair in white? With its cut out back, it’s funky and fun.
